In response to pressure from high-tech businesses and industry groups,
Congress this weekend approved an increase in the number of H-1B visas
by 20,000 but limited it to specially qualified students.

With million IT workers unemployed in USA, why US congress has
increased H1 Visa cap, go figure. You know who funs USA politicans.
While these visas are designed to be used by those who have come here
to study, many body shops in USA and companies such as Wipro, Tata,
Infosys will soon figure out lopholes to take American jobs. I do not
see it is as good thing for American IT workers.

I just thought that it proved that whatever database he was running it on
was as bad as his product

select 1 from object

should *never* return 0. It should either return the value 1 for each row in
the object or else an error that no data was returned.

Not only. According to the article, these new places are available
only for the foreign workers that have MSc. or Phd. degree from some
US university.
And also H-1Bs should not be a problem very soon. For a foreign worker
who do not want to move to the US, but just make some money there, is
US job market quickly becoming unatractive, because of a weak US
dolar. You can make much more money in the EU than in the US these
days if you're going to exchange your salary to any other currency
afterwards.
